Over the past two and a half years, artist and photographer Anja Furrer has documented the restoration of Villa Sonnenberg. In collaboration with the Villa Sonnenberg Foundation, this has resulted in a multi-layered photo book. Christine von Arx and Christoph Moser have contributed two texts to the book, which reveal the history of the house and its residents.
Anja Furrer (*1995) grew up in Lenzburg and lives and works in Basel.
In her artistic practice, she deals with the relationship to nature, intimacy and memory. She is always in search of an immediate image of the world as she perceives it. She shows her projects in books and exhibitions.
